AXIS STAINLESS STEEL
AXIS-STAINLESS
Refined materials. Field-ready performance. Built for the hunt.
The AXIS-STAINLESS takes the purpose-built hunting and skinning geometry of the AXIS and combines it with machined 316 stainless-steel bolsters and hand-selected light stabilized wood for a clean, refined interpretation of a working field knife.
Designed primarily for skinning and processing game, the AXIS features a sweeping cutting edge that provides plenty of usable edge for controlled skinning strokes while maintaining the maneuverability needed for detailed work. Its compact 8.21-inch overall length makes it easy to control when working around joints, contours, and other areas where precision matters.
At its core is a full-tang blade machined from 3/16-inch 52100 high-carbon steel. Known for its combination of toughness, edge retention, and ability to take a keen cutting edge, 52100 provides the performance foundation of the AXIS regardless of the premium materials surrounding it.
The defining feature of the AXIS-STAINLESS is its handle.
Machined 316 stainless-steel front and rear bolsters frame a set of light-colored stabilized figured-wood scales. Woods are selected to complement the brighter stainless bolsters, with natural grain and figure making every handle individually distinctive.
Stabilization allows the handle to retain the appearance and character of natural wood while providing improved dimensional stability for a knife intended to be carried and used.
Metal pins complete the traditional bolster-and-scale construction, producing a handle with a distinctly different character from the all-business AXIS-BLACKOUT.
Each AXIS-STAINLESS includes a formed .080-inch black Kydex sheath with a vertical belt clip for secure, practical field carry.

The stabilized wood used on the AXIS-STAINLESS is a natural material. Grain, figure, coloration, and contrast will vary from knife to knife, meaning no two handles will be exactly alike.
The lighter woods are intentionally selected to complement the stainless-steel bolsters and give the AXIS-STAINLESS its signature appearance.
The AXIS-STAINLESS combines the geometry of a dedicated skinning knife with 52100 steel, 316 stainless bolsters, and stabilized natural wood to create a hunting knife that's equally at home in the field or in a collection.
