AXIS BRASS
AXIS-BRASS
Traditional materials. Modern construction. Built for the hunt.
The AXIS-BRASS takes the purpose-built skinning geometry of the AXIS and gives it a more traditional, premium character through machined brass bolsters and hand-selected stabilized wood scales.
Designed primarily as a skinning and game-processing knife, the AXIS features a sweeping cutting edge that provides plenty of usable edge for controlled skinning strokes while maintaining the maneuverability needed for detailed work. Its compact 8.21-inch overall length keeps the knife manageable when working around joints, contours, and other areas where precise blade control matters.
At the heart of the AXIS is a full-tang blade machined from 3/16-inch 52100 high-carbon steel. Known for its excellent edge characteristics and toughness, 52100 is particularly well suited to a hunting knife where a keen, dependable cutting edge is essential.
What sets the AXIS-BRASS apart is its handle.
Machined C360 brass front and rear bolsters frame a set of dark stabilized figured-wood scales, combining the warmth and individuality of natural wood with the stability required of a working knife. Because every piece of stabilized wood has its own grain, figure, and coloration, no two AXIS-BRASS knives will look exactly alike.
The result is a knife that bridges the gap between a serious field tool and a piece you'll be proud to own, carry, or pass down.
Each AXIS-BRASS includes a formed .080-inch black Kydex sheath with a vertical belt clip, providing secure retention and practical field carry while contrasting with the traditional brass-and-wood handle.
